Monode Marking Products Expands Personal Customer Service

Today Monode Pryor Traceability announced a distribution agreement with Total Quality Systems (TQS) for parts marking equipment, vision and part traceability software.    Pin markers and scribe engravers from Pryor marking have been a recognized leader in high quality marking for aerospace and engine parts for nearly fifty years.

TQS will introduce the Pryor M3000 pin markers to the “four corners” marketplace with a focus on high quality marking and 2D Data Matrix part identification. According to Todd Johnson, President of Total Quality Systems,  “The MPT line of equipment for laser marking and pin marking also fits well within the TQS family of quality inspection equipment and services.”    He continues, “the focus on marking for unit level traceability in the automotive, medical and defense industries is really part of quality and quality assurance.” For the last two decades, Mr. Johnson has been in distribution for metrology equipment providing inspection equipment and services.  

Gene Feldsien, VP Marketing at Monode Pryor Traceability reports that the TQS organization is a good addition to the sales and marketing team at MPT.   Noting that, “ Todd and his staff have a reputation for high quality products and service that fits well with the Pryor and Monode business model.   MPT can provide laser and pin marker solutions but we needed TQS for local sales engineering and service support.  These key relationship will benefit customers.”

The MPT product line features the Pryor Marking pin marking and scribe machines that were recently re-designed to meet the needs of integrated marking in heavy automotive and off road vehicles yet maintain the quality and precise marking required in the aerospace and aircraft engine parts.  These new models are compact yet robust enough to hold up in tough environments working 24/7.   The rigid frame and new X-Y axis members maintain high quality marking, in particular 2D machine readable codes.   TQS will be first to present these new products to the market in the four corner states.
