Customer Software Registration Procedure

The following document details the procedure to register your Monode software on our website. Note that in order to use your Monode software, you must first successfully complete the registration process. To begin, follow these steps:
(1) Insert the Monode software disc into your CD-ROM drive.
(2) If the installation does not begin automatically, browse to the CD-ROM drive using the Windows explorer and run the file ‘setup.bat’ from the CD.
You will now be prompted to enter your 60-digit Product Activation Key.
(3) To obtain the activation key, use your web browser to open http://www.monode.com/register. Here, you will be prompted to enter your company’s username and password. If you do not have this information, refer to the documentation shipped with your product or contact Monode customer support.
(4) Once logged into the Monode website, you will be presented with all of the software keys currently available for your company. Locate the appropriate key for the computer you are installing on and click the ‘Edit’ link on the right side of the page.
(5) On the next screen, click the ‘Add Registration’ link.
(6) You may now highlight the 60 digit activation key using the mouse and copy (ctrl-c) this key to the Windows clipboard.
(7) Now, paste the key (ctrl-v) into the Monode software installation program that was started in step 2. Press the enter key after pasting the code.
(8) When the Activation Key has been accepted by the software, you will be given a Registration Key in the box below. Copy and paste this Registration Key back into the website using the procedure above. Click the ‘Save Registration’ button on the website after pasting the Registration Key.
(9) Once the Registration key is added to the website, you will be given a final Confirmation Code. Copy and paste this code from the website back into the Monode software installer. Press enter.
(10) Click the Register button in the Monode installer and the software installation will begin.
