Monode does not sell commodity stamps. Every stamp, die, and piece of stamping equipment we ship is made in-house, from raw bar stock through heat treatment, engraving, and inspection, using a process refined across more than seven decades.

What to Know Before You Order a Steel Stamp
Steel stamping looks simple: a hardened piece of tool steel with a raised character face, driven into a part by hand or by machine. But the decisions behind a stamp that performs correctly, versus one that chips, mushrooms, or cracks a part it should not have touched, are not obvious anymore.

Cheap Stamps Cost More the Second Time
A commodity stamp can look like a bargain until it is in production. Stamps that lose their edge definition after a few hundred impressions, that mushroom or chip under repeated use, or that simply cannot hold a condensed character set, end up getting replaced, sometimes mid-run. And a commodity supplier has no recycling path when that stamp wears out. You buy it, you use it up, you buy it again.
