Electrochemical Etching Fixtures and Accessories

Fixtures hold the part, complete the circuit, and keep your setup running: bench fixtures for consistent registration, plus the grounds, cord sets, and small hardware every etching station needs. Work with any power unit, for hand marking or semi-automatic use.

How to Choose
Etching Fixtures

The right fixtures and accessories are decided by part geometry. Monode provides two different fixture options to suit your exact requirements.

Roll Marking Fixtures

are for marking the outside diameter of a cylindrical part. This fixtures rolls the part over the stencil while a built-in electrolytic reservoir feeds the pad by wicking action, no manual re-wetting required mid-run.

Part Locating Fixtures

are ideal for flat or otherwise located parts. These fixtures use a non-conductive top plate machinable to your part's geometry, so the same part lands in the same spot over the stencil every time.

Beyond the two bench fixtures, a few accessories round out most etching stations and can be seen in the product comparison grid below.

Item Note
Roll Marking Fixture Cylindrical parts; built-in electrolyte reservoir feeds pad by wicking
Part Locating Fixture Machinable non-conductive plate for consistent registration
Grounds Hand, knife edge, finger ground options
Three-Wire Cord Set Banana terminals, alligator clips
Inline Foot Switches Available for select units
Male/Female Adapters For cord sets and banana-plug holders
Stencil Cleaner Trays Wired to power unit's yellow jack; electrolytically cleans stencils
